CAUTION: Considering the recent rainy weather, my mood has been sober which means this post is the product of it.
Tip: Just skip to the photos. :)
"When people look at my pictures I want them to feel the way they do when they want to read a line of a poem twice."
~Robert Frank
One of the joys in my photography pursuits is finding out that my friends trust me with being able to "capture" their family. It's a privilege. It's also a tremendous responsibility. And for a girl like me--the one who lives according to the 'maintain a stress-free and "no problem" life' principal with great effort--this responsibility is a bit much to handle.
However ... I enjoy photos ... I LOVE good photos of the people I love ... I know there are others who want good photos of those they love ... and I know that, in my own very very very small way, I can offer that. So, amid the stress and problems, I work hard through each experience and hope that I did "capture" their family as they see themselves and just maybe even better.
Enough.
The Peterson Family are pretty people. That's it! Really. Look at them!
There are really 6, not 5, members of this family. Let me introduce you to Scout!
I thought that Scout was this awesome s.u.v.'s nickname --like how my hubby named his truck The Green W. back in the day-- but, Scout is the s.u.v.'s given name by the manufacturer.
Nonetheless, Scout is cool and it made it into the family photos.
When my little one comes along as my assistant, she has a great time with the children. And, of course, being able to enjoy some of The Bribe of the day plays a part.
